UCITS Database

Our UCITS database file is oriented towards investors that are restricted to the UCITS fund structure. These funds have a common framework and are generally registered in one EU state and can have additional authorization for other EU states. The regulation was first formed in 1985 and has been improved and updated over time. These structures are popular for so-called Liquid Alternatives, featuring structures with regulated disclosure requirements, high liquidity, and allowed instruments; to name a few of the restrictions.

The performance data is aggregated across share classes with the same target volatility. We do this to reduce the dimensionality of the database and to make it easier for you to create longer track records for a particular strategy. Moreover, we try to map the fund back to the original fund management company rather than the sponsor of the fund.

This database is a subset, where we carve out particular data structures that track the UCITS fund universe.
